Tiffany Haddish breaks silence on child sex abuse allegations: ‘It wasn’t funny at all’

After the “Through A Pedophiles Eyes” skit starring comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears resurfaced, the internet is waiting to hear from either defendant.

The video was originally uploaded to the Funny or die digital channel but was scrubbed in 2018.

As Blavity previously reported, a 22-year-old woman identified as Jane Doe sued Haddish, 42, and Spears, 47, in California’s Superior Court for Los Angeles County last week.

The suit included her and her minor brother, identified as John Doe. Jane claimed Haddish “nursed” the plaintiffs and left them “traumatized for life”. vanity fair reports.

While Spears has not commented publicly, Haddish recently posted a statement about the lawsuit on her Instagram account.

Haddish said she “deeply regrets” having appeared in a skit that led to her accused of sexually abusing children.

“I know people have a lot of questions. I see,” Haddish wrote. “I’ll be right with you.”

“Unfortunately I can say very little at the moment as a court case is pending,” she continued. “But even though this skit was meant to be comedy, it wasn’t funny at all – and I deeply regret agreeing to act in it. I very much look forward to sharing much more about this situation as soon as possible.”

The lawsuit alleges that Haddish and Spears committed sexual harassment, sexual harassment, sexual abuse of a minor, emotional distress and gross negligence.
