A staple in the “golden era” of Swooshes tires, the Nike Air More Uptempo is also due more than 25 years after the silhouette was first released in the ’90s. After a brief foray into boisterous outfits ready for the upcoming holidays, the latest silhouette endorsed by Scottie Pippen expands on vintage hues.
Light neutral colors run throughout the face of the model, dominated by a crisp white base layer of perforated leather. Enlarged graffiti-style “AIR” overlays provide even more inclusion with powder blue lettering accented by sky blue trim. Color-coordinated with the embroidered Swoosh on the forefoot and rubber laces placed next to it, the “Sail” hues impart an aged aesthetic through the model’s laces and plated sole unit before finishing along the Swoosh jewel of the heel counter.
